The WWE adjusted its tapings schedule on Wednesday by dropping next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown from today’s tapings.

It was first reported by Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda that the taping for the June 26th edition of Friday Night SmackDown was off. POST Wrestling was able to confirm this news and was told by several sources that the June 26th episode will now take place next Friday on the same day, likely done live-to-tape.

There were delays on Wednesday as testing results were still trickling in following the COVID-19 testing administered on Tuesday.

POST Wrestling learned that the tapings began prior to 1 pm Eastern Wednesday with the schedule including Main Event, 205 Live, and next Monday’s episode of Raw.

NXT is going to do two episodes today with tonight’s episode done live and then right after, they will be taping next week’s show.
