AEW Dynamite notes: Full cards for both nights of Fyter Fest, Cezar Bononi cameo

The 6/24 episode of AEW Dynamite was the go-home show before nights one and two of Fyter Fest on July 1st and July 8th on TNT.

Tonight’s AEW Dynamite was the go-home show before nights one and two of Fyter Fest on 7/1 and 7/8 on TNT. The match cards for both nights were revealed and they are listed as followed:

Night One
– AEW World Tag Team Championship:
Kenny Omega & Hangman Adam Page (c) vs. Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent)
MJF & Wardlow vs. Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) (w/ Marko Stunt)
Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen) vs. Santana & Ortiz
– AEW Women’s World Championship:
Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Penelope Ford
– TNT Championship:
Cody (c) vs. Jake Hager

Night Two
– Lance Archer vs. Joey Janela
– Nyla Rose in action
– S.C.U. (Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky & Christopher Daniels) vs. Dark Order (Colt Cabana, Brodie Lee & Stu Grayson)
– Orange Cassidy vs. Chris Jericho

Former NXT talent Cezar Bononi was shown in the crowd during Dynamite. He made a cameo appearance while Hikaru Shida and Penelope Ford brawled on the outside. Bononi was a part of the mass WWE releases/furloughs in April.

 

Darby Allin released a new video of him “training for his return” to the ring:

Following Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss’ tag match on Dynamite, they were targeted by Lance Archer which led to the Archer/Janela match being made official for Fyter Fest. Also, during the TNT Title match press conference, Jake Hager’s wife, Catalina White threw a drink in Cody’s face.
