NXT has announced a non-title match has been added to the first night of their “Great American Bash” shows beginning this Wednesday.

In an announcement Saturday, it was revealed that Io Shirai will face Sasha Banks on Wednesday’s broadcast.

The Great American Bash marketing comes in opposition to AEW’s Fyter Fest series that air over the same two-week period.

*Mia Yim vs. Dakota Kai vs. Candice LeRae vs. Tegan Nox in a #1 contender’s match
*Roderick Strong vs. Dexter Lumis in a Strap Match
*Aliyah & Robert Stone vs. Rhea Ripley – If Ripley loses, she will join the Robert Stone Brand

AEW will hold its first night of their Fyter Fest shows on Wednesday with the following matches scheduled:
*Kenny Omega & Hangman Page vs. Best Friends for the AEW tag titles
*Hikaru Shida vs. Penelope Ford for the AEW women’s title
*Cody vs. Jake Hager for the TNT championship
*Private Party vs. Santana & Ortiz
*MJF & Wardlow vs. Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy
