REPORT: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson joining IMPACT Wrestling

Per report, "The Good Brothers" Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are heading to IMPACT Wrestling for their next venture in pro wrestling.

The discussions of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson joining IMPACT Wrestling were first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet and that IMPACT was heavily pursuing the tandem so they can appear at Slammiversary on July 18th. Sources told the site that IMPACT offered Gallows and Anderson “strong deals” that will allow them to work in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. This story was followed up by Sportskeeda’s Gary Cassidy who reported that Gallows and Anderson have indeed signed with IMPACT Wrestling which was confirmed by Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.

Gallows and Anderson were released from WWE as a part of the mass furloughs/releases in April. The non-compete clauses in their respective contracts are up on July 18th which is the same day as Slammiversary. Luke Gallows’ history with IMPACT dates back to 2011 when he was a part of the company for two years. Whether Gallows and Anderson have signed deals with New Japan or not is unknown as of this writing.

The former multi-time WWE Tag Team Champions were shown in a Slammiversary hype video along with several of the recently released WWE talents. Gallows and Anderson spent a total of four years with the WWE and during that time, they won the RAW Tag Team Titles twice and won the World Cup which led to them being called the “Best Tag Team In The World”.

IMPACT made headlines recently when it was announced that they terminated the contract of Tessa Blanchard and vacated their world championship. For more information about that story, click here.
