The main event of night one of NXT Great American Bash saw NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai defeat WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Sasha Banks. Io was able to score the victory over Banks with assistance from RAW Women’s Champion Asuka, who’ll be defending her title against Banks at WWE’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view on July 18th.

Several matches have been added to week two of NXT Great American Bash which will be headlined by the double title match between NXT Champion Adam Cole and NXT North American Champion Keith Lee. Here’s the week two lineup:
* Mercedes Martinez returns to the ring
* Street Fight: Mia Yim vs. Candice LeRae
* Drake Maverick & Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango) vs. Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde)
* Double Title match: NXT Champion Adam Cole vs. NXT North American Champion Keith Lee
In the opening match of the show, Tegan Nox bested Dakota Kai, Candice LeRae and Mia Yim in a four-way elimination match and with her victory, Nox secured the spot of #1 contender to Io Shirai’s NXT Women’s Title.
