Next week on TNT for AEW’s second installment of their Fight For The Fallen show, Brian Cage will challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. Prior to that bout, on night two of Fyter Fest, Cage’s manager Taz brought back the FTW Championship and crowned Cage as the new champion. The FTW Championship was used in the late 90s in ECW and its only two champions up until July 8th, 2020 were Taz and Sabu.
Following Fyter Fest, the Puppy Dog Battle Royal aired on the All Elite Wrestling YouTube channel.
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose scored a victory at Fyter Fest and following her match, she announced that she has a manager coming to AEW to ensure that she regains the company’s women’s title. Also, Tony Khan noted on Twitter that Big Swole has been “suspended” from All Elite Wrestling for kidnapping Britt Baker.
