This week is a packed one from POST Wrestling as we have several unique shows including plenty of guests, a new Rewind-A-Wai, and the return of the POST Profile looking back at a historic MMA fight.
It’s a new month and the best time to sign up for the POST Wrestling Café to get the maximum out of your subscription. This week, Café members receive Rewind-A-Wai #67 on Tuesday night as John Pollock & Wai Ting review WWF’s Capital Carnage event from London, England in December 1998. The show is headlined by a Fatal Four-Way with Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker vs. Kane vs. Mankind and a WWF title match between The Rock and X-Pac. We will dive into the WWF circa 1998 as the company was on fire and about to grow larger in the following year.
Plus, members of the Café get live access to Rewind-A-SmackDown each Friday at 10:15 pm Eastern to hear the live review and have the option of calling into the show. This month’s Café content also includes the launch of our “Rocky” film reviews, a review of NJPW’s Summer Struggle, and more.
Andrew Thompson’s next interview is with Fred Yehi and that chat will drop on Tuesday.
Our regular Wednesday coverage features Rewind-A-Dynamite and upNXT including Davie Portman’s return after a well-deserved week off.
On Thursday, Martin Bushby will welcome three guests in Cristen Brinkerhoff, Florence Bullock and Liv Heller, who previously ran the “No Sell It” podcast. The four will be reviewing the WWF’s Rebellion pay-per-view from November 2001.
John Pollock will be releasing a special POST Profile this Friday on the ten-year anniversary of the UFC 117 fight between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen for the UFC middleweight title.
On Saturday, POST Puroresu is back with John & WH Park welcoming Dylan Fox of the Eastern Lariat podcast to discuss all the latest Japanese wrestling news and they will also be taking your mailbag questions on any subject, which can be submitted on the POST Wrestling Forum.
Finally, WH rounds out the weekend with The Long & Winding Royal Road with independent wrestler Daniel Makabe as the two discuss the January 26, 1992, match involving Jumbo Tsuruta & Akira Taue taking on Kenta Kobashi & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi from Korakuen Hall.
It is a loaded week and we hope you enjoy all the shows coming your way.
