The TNT Champion Cody teamed with Matt Cardona on tonight’s AEW Dynamite and they scored a victory over John Silver and Alex Reynolds of Dark Order. As Cody was making his way to the backstage area, he was confronted by Scorpio Sky who made it clear that he wants a shot at the TNT Championship and next week, Sky is getting that opportunity.
In the opening tag match of Dynamite, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler executed a tag maneuver that seemingly hurt Harwood. AEW President Tony Khan sent out a tweet wishing well for Harwood.

Trent and Chuckie T used Trent’s mother’s van to drive themselves to Daily’s Place for their match against Santana and Ortiz. After being defeated by Best Friends, Ortiz and Santana vandalized Sue’s [Trent’s mother] van.
There was a segment on the show between Sammy Guevara and Matt Hardy that led to a brawl. While they were brawling on the outside, Guevara set Hardy up on a table and threw a chair at his head which opened up a piece of Hardy’s skin. AEW shared footage of Hardy getting stitched up after their segment.
