WWE RAW notes: Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke debut on RAW, SummerSlam updates

This was the final episode of WWE programming at the Performance Center before the company transitions over to the Amway Center to kick off a stretch of shows that is taking place under the "ThunderDome" banner.

The 8/17 episode of Monday Night RAW was the final episode of the show at the Performance Center for the time being as WWE is transitioning over to the Amway Center in Orlando. Featured on tonight’s RAW were the debuts of Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. Both talents appeared on RAW Underground alongside Shayna Baszler and got physical with Nia Jax who attacked Baszler earlier in the show.

To close out RAW, Randy Orton punted yet another legend and his latest target was Shawn Michaels.

At SummerSlam, Rey Mysterio will be in Dominik Mysterio’s corner as Dominik makes his WWE in-ring debut by facing Seth Rollins who’ll have Buddy Murphy in his corner. Also, Apollo Crews pinned Shelton Benjamin and MVP in a six-man tag team elimination match to finalize the stipulation that at SummerSlam, Benjamin and Bobby Lashley are banned from ringside during Crews and MVP’s United States Title match.

To kick off RAW, there were “technical difficulties” caused by RETRIBUTION. Later in the programming, Demi Burnett appeared on WWE programming again in a segment with Ivar and Angel Garza. There were a number of 24/7 Title changes during the show. It started off with Shelton winning the title from Truth, Shelton losing it to Cedric and Shelton winning it back.

On next week’s RAW Underground, Dolph Ziggler will meet Ivar. Also, this Saturday there will be a ‘SummerSlam Hottest Moments’ special that’s airing at 4 PM EST on FOX.
