Positive COVID-19 test forces Stardom to cancel four events

Stardom has canceled four more shows including this weekend's events following a positive COVID-19 test among its roster & staff.

Stardom has canceled additional shows following a positive COVID-19 test among its roster and staff.

The company revealed Thursday night that members of the roster and staff underwent two days of PCR testing with one person testing positive. This is in addition to another member that tested positive earlier this month and led to the cancelation of their show on August 15th in Osaka.

Due to the positive test, Stardom has canceled both “Yokohama Cinderella” shows this weekend that were scheduled for Yokohama Budokan on Saturday and Sunday. They have also canceled shows on August 29th at Niigata City Higashi Ward Plaza and August 30th at Takaoka Ecole.

The August 29th and 30th shows were set to feature matches from the ongoing 5 Star Grand Prix. The next date on Stardom’s calendar is September 5th with a card at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring.
