All Elite Wrestling will be featured on TNT on two consecutive nights next week. First will be their Late Night Dynamite special which airs immediately following TNT’s coverage of the NBA Playoffs. On the show, Anna Jay is going one-on-one with Brandi Rhodes, Matt Sydal is returning to AEW to face Shawn Spears and the third match-up announced for the special was Ben Carter versus Scorpio Sky. Chris Jericho will be on commentary.

The main event of the 9/16 Dynamite saw Best Friends (Trent & Chuckie T) defeat Santana and Ortiz in a Parking Lot Brawl. After the match was over, Sue picked up Trent, Chuck and Orange Cassidy in her mini van and gave the middle finger to Santana and Ortiz as she drove off.

Tonight’s Dynamite also featured an appearance by Tony Khan. Khan’s appearance occurred after The Young Bucks superkicked referee Mike Posey. After doing so, The Bucks approached Khan and threw a stack of money at him to mock him for his “fine” on The Bucks after they attacked an official last week.

Matt Hardy was back on Dynamite in a segment with Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy). Hardy was attacked by Chris Jericho and Jake Hager before their tag match against Private Party.

The Buffalo Brothers (Daniel Garcia and Kevin Blackwood) were attacked by Pentagon Jr., Fenix, The Butcher and The Blade on the show.

NWA World Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa was in action and she defeated Ivelisse to retain her title. Rosa was ambushed by Ivelisse and Diamante after the match and AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida came in for the save. A tag team match was made official for 9/23 between the two pairs. Also scheduled for next week on Wednesday is an appearance by Chris Jericho. Joining the 9/23 lineup is a six-man tag which will feature Lance Archer, Brian Cage and Ricky Starks taking on the trio of Will Hobbs, Darby Allin and AEW World Champion Jon Moxley along with Brodie Lee defending his TNT Championship against Orange Cassidy.
