Coming out of the 9/16 episode of NXT, it was announced that next week, new challengers to both the NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship will be determined. Starting with the men’s title, the new challenger to Finn Balor’s title will be determined via a Gaunlet Eliminator match where two men start in the ring, every four minutes another one enters and the only way to be eliminated is by pinfall or submission. The last person in the ring gets their shot at the gold.
On the Women’s Title front, Rhea Ripley, Kacy Catanzaro, Indi Hartwell, Aliyah, Dakota Kai, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, Shotzi Blackheart, Raquel Gonzalez, Kayden Carter and Xia Li will compete in a Battle Royal and the winner is moving on to face Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Also slated for next week is a singles match between Jake Atlas and Tommaso Ciampa.

While mentioning Ciampa, he was in a match with Denzel Dejournette who underwent a name change is now going by “Desmond Troy”.
