AEW’s Lance Archer was scheduled to compete on tonight’s edition of Dynamite in a six-man tag team match alongside Brian Cage and Ricky Starks as they were set to take on Darby Allin, Will Hobbs and AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.

Archer took to Twitter recently and revealed that after indirectly coming in contact with a friend who was COVID positive, he has now tested positive for COVID-19.

Archer is still scheduled to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship on the AEW Anniversary show on October 14th. Following Archer’s tweet, Moxley noted that he’s going to be putting the world title on the line on Dynamite. It was then confirmed that Moxley will defend the AEW World Title against Eddie Kingston on the show.

A new episode of Rewind-A-Dynamite will be up on the site following the show going off the air on TNT and that can be listened to at this link.
