The 10/2 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is the fallout show from Clash of Champions and the beginning of the build to the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view. Announced for the show is Jeff Hardy challenging Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. Zayn officially won the Intercontinental Title at Clash of Champions by besting Hardy and AJ Styles in a Ladder match.

SmackDown will also feature Alexa Bliss guest appearing on Kevin Owens’ talk show. Last week on SmackDown, Alexa Bliss stared down Roman Reigns on the entrance ramp after The Fiend’s signature laugh replayed during Bliss’ match with Lacey Evans.

While mentioning Roman Reigns, the Universal Champion is scheduled for the show along with Paul Heyman and Reigns will officially be crowned “The Tribal Chief”. Reigns defeated Jey Uso at Clash of Champions to retain his title.
