Jey Uso accepts Roman Reigns’ challenge for a match at Hell In A Cell

Roman Reigns issued the challenged, Jey Uso accepted and now they'll be meeting once more for the Universal Championship at Hell In A Cell.

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns opened tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown alongside Paul Heyman. Roman is coming off of defeating Jey Uso at Clash of Champions to retain the Universal Title. Roman invited Jey to the ring and still wanted Jey to verbally acknowledge him as “The Tribal Chief”. After both men cut their respective promos, Roman then offered Jey another shot at the Universal Championship at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view on October 25th. Jey Uso accepted the challenge as Roman was making his way out from camera’s view.

Roman stated that he and Jey’s forthcoming match will have the “highest of stakes”. On commentary, Michael Cole mentioned the match taking place inside of Hell In A Cell.

Following SmackDown, John Pollock and Wai Ting will be live for a new edition of Rewind-A-SmackDown.
