The 10/9 edition of Friday Night SmackDown will be the kickoff to the 2020 WWE Draft. Scheduled for that show is a SmackDown Women’s Championship match between Sasha Banks and the champion Bayley. Sasha appeared on tonight’s program to make the challenge and their match was soon made official. Also, Big E and Sheamus are clashing in a Falls Count Anywhere match on the WWE Draft episode of SmackDown.
Kevin Owens welcomed Alexa Bliss onto The K.O. Show to discuss her interactions with ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt. After their portion of the segment wrapped up, The Fiend entered the picture and choked out Kevin Owens. Next week, Owens and The Fiend are going one-on-one.

Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella was revealed as the individual behind the vignettes that have been airing on SmackDown over the past month-and-a-half. Carmella mentioned possibly ending up on RAW or SmackDown as a part of the Draft.

Before successfully defending the Intercontinental Championship against Jeff Hardy in the main event, Sami Zayn threw the “fraud” version of the title in a garbage can.
It was promoted during the show that Otis is “going to court” next week to keep his Money In The Bank contract. Otis is currently involved in a storyline with The Miz and John Morrison in-which the duo are trying to take the contract away from Otis. Also announced for RAW is WWE Champion Drew McIntyre looking for revenge on Randy Orton for Orton’s attack on Big Show, Christian, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair at the conclusion of this week’s RAW.
