The Long & Winding Royal Road takes a detour to chronicle the life and career of the legendary Mitsuharu Misawa. WH Park is joined by Pro-Wrestling NOAH and Misawa expert, Hisame who does Japanese to English translations of NOAH-related content on her Twitter and blog.
WH and Hisame navigate the early life of Mitsuharu Misawa, from his childhood, to his entry into the All Japan dojo, to his excursion to Mexico, to becoming Tiger Mask II. From there, they look at his ascent as the ace of AJPW with a focus on his relationship with Jumbo Tsuruta. Finally, they discuss Misawa leaving All Japan to form Pro-Wrestling NOAH and his tragic in-ring death.
WH Park and a special guest look back at the greatest matches of All Japan Pro Wrestling from the 1990s in The Long & Winding Royal Road, a limited-edition podcast from POST Wrestling.
