The October 7th episode of NXT on the USA Network is the fall out from TakeOver 31 this past Sunday. WWE announced that on the show, former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon will appear to kick off the program. Ember made her return to NXT at TakeOver after Io Shirai retained her championship. In that same segment, Shirai was also confronted by former NXT U.K. Women’s Champion Toni Storm.
Ember has not wrestled since the Fall of 2019 after suffering an Achilles injury. Earlier this year, Ember questioned if she’d ever be able to wrestle again due to the severity of her injury.
This week’s NXT TV will also feature a singles match between KUSHIDA and Tommaso Ciampa. KUSHIDA scored a win over Velveteen Dream at TakeOver and Ciampa last competed on the 9/23 edition of NXT during-which he defeated Jake Atlas.
