Coming off of his spotlighted moment at the conclusion of TakeOver 31, Ridge Holland went one-on-one with Danny Burch and picked up a win. After his victory, Holland continued beating on Burch which led to Oney Lorcan coming out. Oney attempted to hit a crossbody onto Holland but Holland’s foot was not straight when he came down with Lorcan.
Doesn’t look great for Ridge Holland, the ref through up the X as well.

Xia Li fell in defeat to Shotzi Blackheart. After her loss, Xia was approached by Boa, who competed in the 2019 NXT Breakout tournament and Boa made an offer of sorts to Xia.

Drake Maverick and Killian Dain’s storyline continued. The two now have theme music and they picked up a win over Ever-Rise (Scott Parker & Shane Matthews). Maverick attempted to celebrate with Dain but Dain laid Maverick out once again. Before leaving the ringside area, Dain put Maverick over his shoulder and took him to the back.
Leon Ruff, who was officially announced today as a member of the WWE roster competed against Austin Theory. Theory defeated Ruff and immediately had another match against Dexter Lumis who hadn’t wrestled since July before tonight. Lumis bested Theory in their match and Lumis was met with the “Kamen” from Cameron Grimes following his win.
A video package aired to promote Toni Storm’s return to NXT. Storm put Io Shirai on notice at TakeOver 31.
KUSHIDA versus Tommaso Ciampa opened the show. The match was ruled a disqualification in favor of Ciampa after Velveteen Dream interfered and accidentally hit Ciampa. Dream was defeated by KUSHIDA at TakeOver this past Sunday.
