Jose Rodriguez a.k.a. ‘Alberto Del Rio’ indicted on multiple counts

Jose Rodriguez Chucuan a.k.a. 'Alberto Del Rio' has been indicted on multiple counts including aggravated kidnapping and sexual assault.

The Bexar County District Attorney’s Office has issued a press release noting that Jose Rodriguez Chucuan (who wrestled as ‘Alberto Del Rio’ and ‘Alberto El Patron’) has been charged with a multi-count indictment alleging one count of aggravated kidnapping and four counts of sexual assault.

Jose Rodriguez Chucuan is charged in a multi-count indictment. The indictment alleges that on May 3, 2020, Chucuan committed one count of aggravated kidnapping and four counts of sexual assault.

News 4 in San Antonio first reported that Chucuan was arrested this past May over an incident that allegedly took place on May 3rd involving an unnamed woman. The woman stated in an affidavit that Chucuan assaulted her more than once with the latest incident on that date involving Chucuan striking her repeatedly, threatening to harm the woman’s son, and proceeding to tie the woman’s hands together and place a sock in her mouth before sexually assaulting her that she stated lasted for hours.

TMZ obtained the police report and added that the responding officer saw “multiple bruises” on the woman’s face, arm, legs, and neck.

At the time of his arrest in May, his bond was set at $50,000 and was posted, allowing Chucuan to be released.
