The New Day reunited on WWE television tonight as a trio for the first time since Xavier Woods went down with his Achilles injury in 2019. Kofi Kingston has been out since the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in July where he and Big E dropped the SmackDown Tag Titles to Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods competed on tonight’s show and challenged Nakamura and Cesaro for the SmackDown Tag Titles and became 7-time holders of the championships. As Big E came to the ring to celebrate with his New Day-brethren, Stephanie McMahon continued on with the Draft and announced that Woods and Kingston are moving to RAW while Big E is staying on SmackDown.
