Sasha Banks took on Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship on the WWE Draft edition of SmackDown. Several minutes into the match, Bayley got herself DQ’d by hitting Banks with a chair. During a backstage segment later in the show, Sasha challenged Bayley to a Hell In A Cell match at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view on October 25th.
Next week’s SmackDown is being promoted as the ‘Season Premiere’ of the show. On that show, Roman Reigns is defending his Universal Championship against Braun Strowman. Also, the show will feature New Day’s farewell as they’ll team up against Sheamus, Cesaro and Big E. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston defeated Cesaro and Nakamura to become SmackDown Tag Team Champions and were drafted to RAW as a part of the 2020 WWE Draft. Fellow New Day member Big E will remain on SmackDown.
