Independent wrestler Tony Deppen is the latest performer from The Collective last weekend to announce a positive COVID-19 test result.
Deppen posted the following message on Sunday noting he received his results earlier in the day. He noted that people he had been around, including sharing a car with for nine hours, have tested negative.
I’ve been by myself for the last week, so half through, before I get another one.
I’m not bummed about much over it, other than I actually felt like death. However, I feel like shit on a personal level, because this is forcing my wife and I to cancel our baby shower.

Deppen took part in two events at The Collective series of shows last weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana. Both shows he wrestled on – Effy’s Big Gay Brunch and Joey Janela’s Spring Break 4 – took place on Saturday, October 10th.
Over the weekend, Deppen had stated he was awaiting test results and had canceled a booking with ICW: No Holds Barred as a precaution, which was the smart move to make.
Independent wrestler Dan the Dad provided an update that after receiving a positive test result this past week, he has since tested negative in a follow-up test:
Follow up on positive test earlier this week. Obviously still keep testing & making smart choices. Thank you pic.twitter.com/MAw1xOG89y
