This past weekend, we wrapped up our annual coverage of the G1 Climax completing 19 shows over the past month including the final three nights from Sumo Hall over the weekend.
If you are new to the POST Wrestling Café, we hope you enjoy the shows we have coming up as we’ve got a stacked week coming up.
For the Café members, Tuesday is the release of our monthly mailbag show ASK-A-WAI where Wai Ting and I will answer mailbag questions for the entire show. These ones typically last close to two hours and are a lot of fun giving us a chance to dive into subjects we don’t normally get to on the regular shows. All questions are welcome and can be submitted on the thread on the POST Wrestling Forum.
Martin Bushby & Andrew Thompson launched a new show month called Bushby & Thompson’s Wrestling Adventure. Each month, they will take an old show and watch it through their unique perspectives and got great reviews for their kickoff show discussing WrestleMania 19 from March 2003. This month, they have chosen Slammiversary from July 2018, which was one of Impact Wrestling’s best pay-per-views in years and definitely its best show up until that point during the Anthem era. A lot of has changed for that company in two years and I think this show will be an interesting look at how rapidly the industry has changed since that summer of 2018.
On Friday, I’ll chat with Cody Saftic from Fight Network and Bookie Beatdown to help preview UFC 254 this weekend. The two of us will discuss all the latest news happening in MMA and break down Saturday’s card that is headlined by Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Justin Gaethje for the UFC lightweight title.
Then, on Saturday it’s the UFC 254 POST Show with Phil Chertok and I reviewing the show – which features the main card airing at 2 pm Eastern meaning we will be going LIVE at approximately 5 pm on the POST Wrestling YouTube channel.
On Saturday night, Davie Portman & Nate Milton will host our Bound for Glory POST Show covering the Impact Wrestling pay-per-view and sharing their thoughts with an extensive review.
Plus, Café members also get access to Rewind-A-SmackDown LIVE Friday night at 10:15 pm Eastern where you can listen & watch, as well as call into the show. Wai and I will be doing a LIVE show with our WWE Hell in a Cell POST Show for Double Double, Iced Capp & Espresso members of the POST Wrestling Café.
