AJ Styles had his first match on RAW since being drafted by the brand as a part of the 2020 WWE Draft. Alongside AJ for his match against Matt Riddle was Jordan Omogbehin who was the doorman for RAW Underground. Jordan assisted Styles in defeating Riddle.

A new Firefly Fun House segment aired and Alexa Bliss was brought into the Fun House with Bray Wyatt. The two stated that their fun has only just begun.
Elias held a live concert on the show and as he was prepping to play his second set, it was revealed that Jeff Hardy was one of the guitar players and Hardy attempted to swing a guitar at Elias. In a backstage interview, Elias issued a challenge to Jeff Hardy for a match at Hell In A Cell this coming Sunday.

To kick off the season premiere of Monday Night RAW, the brand introduced a new theme song which was created by artist NF. This theme was used on this past Friday’s edition of SmackDown for a Bianca Belair video package.

The Hurt Business (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander) defeated RETRIBUTION (Mustafa Ali, Dominik Dijakovic, Dio Maddin & Shane Thorne) in an eight-man tag team match. Dijakovic tapped out to Bobby Lashley’s ‘Full Lashley’ submission maneuver. Also during the show, following her RAW Women’s Title match against Asuka, Lana was put through a table again by Nia Jax.
