Impact Wrestling has confirmed the signing of its Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo to a long-term contract.
The announcement of the deal was made by Josh Mathews during Wednesday’s Press Pass media call. Following the announcement, Purrazzo confirmed it on her Twitter account. No additional details were released.
Purrazzo, 26, was part of WWE’s cuts this past April where she had been part of the NXT roster since signing in 2018. The performer had a 30-day no-compete clause and first appeared for the company in May.
Purrazzo won the Knockout’s championship defeating Jordynne Grace at the Slammiversary pay-per-view this past July and will defend the title against Kylie Rae this Saturday at Bound for Glory.
