Giant Baba memorial show announced for February 4th, 2021

The Giant Baba memorial show has been announced for February 4th, 2021. NJPW and AJPW are confirmed to be participating as of this moment.

It was announced today that the next Giant Baba memorial show will take place on February 4th, 2021 at Korakuen Hall. The show is being produced by All Japan Pro Wrestling referee Kyohei Wada and AJPW ring announcer Fumihito Kihara. HJT Production Ogata Co., Ltd. are the organizers of the forthcoming event.

Wada stated during the presser that he wants people who knew Giant Baba to be at the show. He wants it to be a show that embodies who Baba was in the ring. He added that as far as talent goes, as of now, New Japan Pro-Wrestling and All Japan ar cooperating as the participating companies and he also wants talents to come in that were able to form relationships with Baba.

The last Giant Baba anniversary show took place on February 19th, 2019 and it was also a celebration of Abdullah The Butcher. The event was held at Sumo Hall and was headlined by Daisuke Sekimoto and Kento Miyahara defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi & Yoshitatsu.
