During Saturday’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view, IMPACT Wrestling revealed that the Knockouts tag titles will be returning in 2021.

The tag team championships will be brought back at the next pay-per-view, which is “Hard to Kill” taking place on Saturday, January 16th, 2021.

The titles were first introduced by TNA in September 2009 with Sarita (Sarah Stock) & Taylor Wilde serving as the inaugural champions. In subsequent years, they were held by teams including The Beautiful People, Awesome Kong & Ayako Hamada, and Gail Kim & Madison Rayne

The champions were Eric Young & ODB, who won the titles in March 2012, and the belts were deactivated in June 2013.

There was no location listed for “Hard to Kill”, although IMPACT has been holding all their tapings at Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee during the pandemic without fans in attendance.
