NJPW reveals the participants for the Best of the Super Juniors

During Monday’s card at Korakuen Hall, New Japan revealed the participants in the upcoming Best of the Super Juniors tournament.

During Monday’s “Road to Power Struggle” card at Korakuen Hall, New Japan revealed the participants in the upcoming Best of the Super Juniors tournament.

The tournament was delayed from this past spring as a result of the pandemic and will run simultaneously with the annual World Tag League tournament with both kicking off Sunday, November 15th.

The field of participants for the Best of the Super Juniors tournament includes:

*Taiji Ishimori (IWGP junior heavyweight champion)

*El Desperado

*Yoshinobu Kanemaru

*Hiromu Takahashi

*Ryusuke Taguchi

*Master Wato

*SHO

*Robbie Eagles – his first New Japan matches since February

*BUSHI

*DOUKI

The tournament will run over four weeks concluding with the finals at Budokan Hall on Friday, December 11th on a show that will also feature the finals of the World Tag League.
