At NXT Halloween Havoc, Johnny Gargano defeated Damian Priest to become a two-time North American Champion. On next week’s episode of NXT, Gargano will defend that title against an unnamed opponent. Also scheduled for next week’s show is Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan defending their NXT Tag Team Titles against Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango). Burch and Lorcan defeated Breezango for the tag titles several weeks ago after Undisputed ERA was removed from the tag title match by way of sneak attacks from Pat McAfee.
NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai issued a challenge to Rhea Ripley on tonight’s show. To open the program, Dakota Kai defeated Ember Moon with the help of Raquel Gonzalez.
While mentioning Raquel, she was challenged by Xia Li.
