The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) and FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) have been on a collision course since FTR arrived in All Elite Wrestling. The duos have been teasing a match with one another over social media for several years as The Young Bucks were a part of Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling and FTR were in WWE as “The Revival”.
They had their first match against one another at Full Gear with the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line. The stipulation was that if The Young Bucks lost, they could never challenge for the AEW Tag Team Titles again, which was the same stipulation for Cody and Chris Jericho’s AEW World Title match at Full Gear 2019. That stipulation would not go on to hover over Matt and Nick Jackson as they defeated FTR to become the tag team champions.

FTR defeated Kenny Omega and Hangman Page at All Out for the tag titles and after a two month reign, FTR’s hold on AEW’s tag team division has loosened.
A year ago in the AEW World Tag Team Title tournament, The Young Bucks were eliminated by Private Party in the opening round and fast forward a year later, the duo have added yet another tag team championship to their respective and joint-resumes.
