James Storm and Eli Drake first captured the NWA World Tag Team Championships at the NWA ‘Hard Times’ pay-per-view in January. Drake and Storm defeated Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson to become champions and dating back to before the COVID-19 pandemic, the titles had not been defended and during that period, James Storm became a free agent.
The NWA World Tag Titles were on the line on the 11/10 edition of United Wrestling Network’s ‘Prime Time Live’ show. Storm and Drake put their titles on the line against Aron Stevens and JR Kratos. The make-shift duo of Stevens and Kratos became the new tag team champions of the NWA.
Stevens is currently a booker for the Championship Wrestling From Hollywood promotion and JR Kratos has recently begun competing on NJPW Strong.

James Storm was also featured on tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS. Storm returned to the company at Bound For Glory in the ‘Call Your Shot’ Gauntlet match.
Back in October, Storm joined Busted Open Radio and stated that he and Eli Drake were supposed to drop the NWA Tag Team Titles at the NWA’s WrestleMania week show. He added that whenever the organization needed him to drop the title, he would come in and do business.
