With strong cable news coverage on Wednesday, AEW finished 17th on cable while NXT was outside of the top fifty programs.

Following the Full Gear pay-per-view, AEW Dynamite averaged 764,000 viewers and a 0.30 in the 18-49 demographic. It finished 17th for the night on cable, fourteen of those programs were from cable news. Dynamite improved 6.5 percent in overall viewers and stayed even with their demo figure from last week, which occurred the night after the U.S. Election.

NXT finished outside of the top fifty cable programs at #56 with 632,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic. NXT improved 3.6 percent in viewers and 14.3 percent in the demo figure.

Because AEW and NXT did not finish in the top fifty programs last week, we don’t have numbers to compare this week’s performance with.

In Canada, AEW Dynamite aired on both TSN 2 and TSN 5. The combined viewership between the networks was approximately 101,000 viewers with the majority watching the episode on TSN 2.

Below is a breakdown of AEW’s key demo ratings on TNT while Showbuzz Daily doesn’t have detailed information for NXT based on its placement:
