Ring of Honor is set to present their first pay-per-view event since the COVID-19 pandemic began and it’ll be in the form of their biggest event of their calendar year in ‘Final Battle’. The announcement was made during the ROH Week by Week show on the company’s YouTube channel. Final Battle is taking place on December 18th and more details about the event will be made public in the coming weeks.

The show also recapped the latest episode of ROH TV which included a match between Kenny King and Shane Taylor.

Last year’s Final Battle pay-per-view was headlined by PCO defeating RUSH to become ROH World Champion. The year prior, The Briscoes became ROH World Tag Team Champions in a Ladder War match against S.C.U. (Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky) and The Young Bucks.

Prior to the pandemic, Ring of Honor was inching towards their Supercard of Honor joint-show with New Japan Pro-Wrestling and there were also plans in place to crown a ROH Women’s World Champion.
