On December 2nd, Jon Moxley is scheduled to defend his AEW World Championship against the AEW Title Eliminator tournament winner Kenny Omega. Moxley and Omega were supposed to sign a contract on tonight’s Dynamite to make their match official but Moxley was attacked backstage prior to the segment. It was also announced that the 12/2 edition of Dynamite is being branded as ‘Winter Is Coming’.

The AEW Women’s World Championship will be on the line next week as Hikaru Shida is putting her title on the line against Dark Order’s Anna Jay.

Serena Deeb, the NWA World Women’s Champion defended her title on tonight’s program against Thunder Rosa. Deeb received an inadvertent assist from Britt Baker who ambushed Rosa on the outside before tossing her back in the ring to be defeated. Baker and Rosa exchanged words on social media earlier this week.

To close out Dynamite, TNT Champion Darby Allin and Cody Rhodes took on Brian Cage and Ricky Starks. Following the match, Will Hobbs appeared to come to the aid of Rhodes and Allin after a brawl with Team Taz, but it was Hobbs who aligned himself with Starks, Taz and Cage.

PAC made his in-ring return on the 11/18 Dynamite and picked up a win over The Blade. In the post-match segment, Pentagon Jr. and Fenix realigned with PAC to reform Death Triangle. The group was last together on-screen back in March before the COVID-19 pandemic. This led to a match for next week being made official as PAC and Fenix are taking on The Butcher and The Blade.

The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, MJF, Wardlow, Jake Hager, Santana, Ortiz & Sammy Guevara) had a series of segments on Dynamite that were taped in Las Vegas. The likes of Konnan and Hornswoggle made cameo appearances.

Prior to challenging The Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championships, AEW aired a detailed video package for Top Flight (Darius & Daunte Martin) that can be viewed here.

Independent wrestler Lady Frost was front row at Dynamite and on next week’s show, Jake Hager and Chris Jericho are taking on Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian.
