During the 11/18 episode of NXT on the USA Network, a video package aired featuring Shotzi Blackheart and it was to announce that NXT TakeOver: WarGames is taking place on December 6th. Shotzi stated in the video that both she and Candice LeRae will be going to war.

Blackheart and LeRae have been intertwined in storylines dating back to before the NXT Great American Bash event. More recently, LeRae along with Indi Hartwell took out Blackheart on NXT after LeRae scored a victory over Toni Storm.
This will be NXT’s fourth WarGames event. Last year’s show was headlined by Team Ciampa (Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic & Kevin Owens) defeating The Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong).
