NWA’s ‘Shockwave’ show to premiere on 12/1

NWA is returning to the fold of pro wrestling with their 'Shockwave' show that will air on YouTube on Tuesdays.

The National Wrestling Alliance is back with weekly programming as it was announced via their YouTube channel by their lead commentator Joe Galli that the NWA is premiering their ‘Shockwave’ show next week. The show kicks off at 6 PM EST on the NWA YouTube channel and it’ll feature matches that have not been seen before on the aforementioned media platform.

NWA has stayed in the mix of professional wrestling with their World Women’s Championship being regularly featured on AEW Dynamite. Both Serena Deeb, the current champion and Thunder Rosa have defended the title on AEW programming. The NWA had a spot on AEW’s Full Gear BUY IN show as well where Deeb defended the title against Allysin Kay.

It was stated in the announcement that the ‘Shockwave’ show can be viewed one day early if viewers would like to become patrons. NWA talent has also been spotlighted on the United Wrestling Network ‘Prime Time Live’ program. On the premiere episode of the weekly pay-per-view event, Nick Aldis successfully defended the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title against Mike Bennett.

Over the past several weeks, NWA has lost two talents from their women’s division in Allysin Kay and Marti Belle. Both of their respective contracts with the NWA expired. While Serena Deeb is the NWA World Women’s Champion, she is signed to AEW and Thunder Rosa is under contract with the NWA until the end of 2021.
