The next installment of AEW Dynamite is being labeled ‘Winter Is Coming’ and it’s being headlined by Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega. Multiple matches have been added to the 12/2 program including the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal. In 2019, MJF won this very Battle Royal and still utilizes the ring in his matches.

Britt Baker is scheduled to compete in singles competition against Leyla Hirsch. Along with that bout, Chris Jericho will meet Frankie Kazarian. Jericho and Jake Hager defeated Kazarian and Christopher Daniels on tonight’s Dynamite. Will Hobbs, now donning the name “Powerhouse Hobbs” is tagging with Ricky Starks next week to take on Cody and TNT Champion Darby Allin.

While mentioning Team Taz members, Taz and Cody had a segment on Dynamite that resulted in Cody being choked by Taz after Cody mentioned that Taz’s son was training with him instead of his father.

Hikaru Shida successfully defended the AEW Women’s World Championship against Anna Jay. Post-match, Shida was confronted by the returning Abadon who left her mark on Shida’s title.

To open Dynamite, Hangman Page picked up a win over John Silver and following their match, Evil Uno of Dark Order offered an opportunity to Hangman to be a part of the group.
