Earlier today, it was reported by PWInsider that Shane “Hurricane” Helms was present backstage for WWE’s Survivor Series pay-per-view and he returned to work as a producer the next night on RAW. Helms was furloughed from WWE back in April and on November 7th, he made an appearance during AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view as a part of Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara’s ‘Elite Deletion’ match. Helms was also the most recent guest on the ROHStrong podcast.

Returning to the company along with Helms is Dave Finlay, per PWInsider. Finlay was furloughed this past April and he returned to the company recently and is working as a producer for NXT tonight.

In the months following being furloughed from WWE, Shane Helms stated during a number of interviews that the door to return to the company was open and he has been in contact with them since.

The likes of Billy Kidman, Scott Armstrong and Pat Buck have returned to WWE dating back to this past Summer after being let go in April.
