NXT held their TakeOver: WarGames go-home show on the USA Network on 12/2. The women’s WarGames match is officially set as Shotzi Blackheart found her final team member and it’s NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai. Io is joining Shotzi, Rhea Ripley and Ember Moon as they’ll meet Candice LeRae, Toni Storm, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez this Sunday.
Shotzi earned the WarGames advantage for her team by obtaining the briefcase in a Ladder match against Gonzalez.
Prior to the storyline portion of NXT starting, a tribute took place for the late Pat Patterson who passed away today at the age of 79-years old.
