Overnight viewership for WWE SmackDown back over 2 million for 12/4

The viewership numbers are in for the 12/4 episode of Friday Night SmackDown and the average viewership is up from last week.

The overnight viewership numbers are in for the 12/4 episode of Friday Night SmackDown and the average viewership number is up from the post-Survivor Series overnight ratings, per Showbuzz Daily. An average of 2.029 million tuned into SmackDown on FOX. The first hour of the show brought in 2,053,000 and the second hour drew 2,004,000.

SmackDown did an 0.3 in the 18-49 demographic but that number is down from last week’s show which did a 0.6 in the same demographic.

The show opened with a tribute to the late Pat Patterson and it also featured an Intercontinental Champions six-man tag match with the likes of Daniel Bryan, Big E and Rey Mysterio versus Shinsuke Nakamura, Dolph Ziggler and the current champion Sami Zayn. The build to the TLC pay-per-view continued and there were several championship matches added to the card. Below are the highest viewed 12/4-SmackDown related videos on WWE’s YouTube channel:

  2. Roman Reigns lays waste to Otis, 625,000 views

  5. Murphy vs. King Corbin, 284,000 views

John Pollock returned to Rewind-A-SmackDown with Wai Ting and the two broke down the 12/4 SmackDown and shared their thoughts on the passing of Pat Patterson.
