The finals of MLW’s Opera Cup tournament was made official on the 12/16 episode of FUSION. Lawlor will meet Low Ki next week to determine the tournament winner. Also on tonight’s program, MLW on-screen manager and executive producer Salina de la Renta teased Mil Muertes’ arrival to Major League Wrestling.

Muertes, also known as Ricky Banderas is a former 4-time AAA Mega Champion and a former Lucha Underground Champion. Over the past several months, Muertes worked several independent shows in Mexico and in Illinois.
His last match was in November when he wrestled Jimmy Lloyd at VxS’ ‘Eternal Atake’ show. As MLW’s ‘Restart’ progressed, de la Renta continuously teased that she was looking for more members to grow her on-screen brand. Earlier this year, Muertes wrestled current MLW National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone.
