This week’s episode of NXT is scheduled to feature a Street Fight with the NXT tag-team championship being defended.
On Saturday, it was announced that champions Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch will defend their titles against Killian Dane & Drake Maverick in a Street Fight.
NXT will have a rare week without competition from AEW Dynamite with the latter airing later that evening after TNT’s NBA coverage.
The last time NXT ran unopposed on a Wednesday night occurred on August 26th this past summer where the show averaged 824,000 viewers and a 0.24 in the 18-49 demographic.
NXT is also advertising a rematch between Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and Jake Atlas for this Wednesday’s program at 8 pm Eastern on the USA Network.
