WWE RAW notes: The Miz gets back Money In The Bank briefcase, Luke Harper

The Miz is Mr. Money In The Bank again, the Brodie Lee tributes came raining in, WWE Championship bout set for next week's RAW and more.

The Miz’s Money In The Bank contract was cashed in at the TLC pay-per-view. He and John Morrison inserted themselves into the WWE Championship match between the champion Drew McIntyre and challenger AJ Styles. McIntyre ultimately retained but it was Morrison who cashed in the contract for Miz and Miz himself did not cash it in. On tonight’s RAW, following a loss to Gran Metalik, Miz and John Morrison were met inside Tropicana Field by Adam Pearce who alerted Miz that he’s once again Mr. Money In The Bank because he was not the one to cash-in.

Keith Lee scored a win over Sheamus and with that win, he earned a WWE Championship match next week. On the Legends night edition of RAW, Drew McIntyre will defend his title against Lee.

To kick off the show, WWE displayed a graphic for the late Jon Huber (Luke Harper in WWE). Throughout the show, there were multiple tributes such as McIntyre repeating Huber’s signature, “It’s Monday, you know what that means” saying, Xavier Woods sporting an armband with “Brodie” on it and using the Discus lariat.

Randy Orton entered the Firefly Fun House and to close out RAW, he and Alexa Bliss met in the ring and Bliss demanded that Orton set her on fire like he did ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt at TLC. The conclusion of the segment saw Orton with a match in his hand but the show went off the air before the aftermath was shown.

Ricochet was defeated by Mustafa Ali. Post-match, Ricochet was presented with another opportunity to join RETRIBUTION. He denied the group’s offer once again but was able to escape their beatdown after hitting Ali with his “Recoil” finisher.
