WWE RAW notes: Alexa Bliss shoots fireball at Orton, McIntyre-COVID, Ric Flair

The conclusion of RAW saw Alexa Bliss shoot a fireball at Randy Orton, Triple H competing and more throughout the show.

Headlining the 1/11 episode of RAW was a singles match between Randy Orton and Paul “Triple H” Levesque. To kick off the show, Orton instigated his way into a singles match with Triple H. As Levesque entered the ring with a sledgehammer, The Fiend Bray Wyatt’s signature pattern of the arena lights cutting out unfolded. When the lights cut back on, Alexa Bliss was in the ring and she shot a fireball at Orton.

WWE pushed out the news that Drew McIntyre tested positive for COVID-19. A video that McIntyre recorded from home aired on RAW. He stated that he’s not feeling symptoms and encouraged all to wear their masks. Drew is scheduled to defend the WWE Championship against Goldberg at the Royal Rumble.

Ric Flair appeared during Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans’ singles match. Flair helped Evans defeat Charlotte. The interactions between Ric and Lacey began last week when Flair “accidentally” helped Evans and Peyton Royce pick up a win over Charlotte and RAW Women’s Champion Asuka. In a backstage promo following Evans’ win over Charlotte, she stated that her and Ric were headed to a hotel.

Bobby Lashley successfully defended the United States Championship against Riddle. He submitted Riddle with the ‘Hurt Lock’.
