At the conclusion of AEW Beach Break, following his team’s loss in the six-man tag main event, Jon Moxley was lining up AEW World Champion Kenny Omega but blindsiding Moxley before he could do so was KENTA. KENTA is in possession of the briefcase that is giving him an IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Title match against Moxley on the February 26th edition of NJPW Strong.
In a segment that was recorded after Dynamite, Omega caught up with KENTA at Daily’s Place and KENTA told Omega that they are not friends and he is only at AEW to beat Jon Moxley. Both KENTA and Omega will be teaming together on next week’s Dynamite to take on Moxley and Lance Archer in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
