27-year veteran Minoru Tanaka has competed in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, All Japan, Wrestle-1 and Pro Wrestling NOAH. His next venture in the sport will be with the GLEAT promotion which was formally introduced in the summer of 2020. LIDET Entertainment, former owner of Pro-Wrestling NOAH founded GLEAT. Along with being a talent, Tanaka is going to be the UWF Technical Officer.

Kiyoshi Tamura, former wrestler and MMA fighter is the Executive Director of GLEAT. Tamura competed in UWF and PrideFC and NOSAWA Rongai is working as the Chief Strategy Officer. To read more about GLEAT, head over to their official website.
Tanaka’s debut match in GLEAT is up on the promotion’s YouTube page as he teamed with Soma Watanabe to take on Tatsuhito Takaiwa and Takanori Ito.

Tanaka worked several independent shows in Japan over the past few months. Over the summer, he competed in DDT Pro-Wrestling’s King Of DDT tournament. Tanaka’s last match for Pro Wrestling NOAH was in March of 2020 and he challenged for the GHC National Championship.
