This week on the Café, Rewind-A-Wai #80 features John & Wai’s review of NXT TakeOver: R-Evolution from December 2014.
It’s the TakeOver best remembered for the arrival of Kevin Owens and subsequent attack on best friend Sami Zayn booking-ending the show. As always, we’ll dive into this era of NXT with lots of historical notes and reflections on the state of the brand in its earlier stages. This show also featured Finn Balor teaming with Hideo Itami, a women’s title match between Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks, and the debut of Corey Graves on the NXT broadcast team. Rewind-A-Wai drops on Tuesday for Café members at all levels.
This Sunday night, John & Wai will be LIVE immediately after the Elimination Chamber event for Double Double, Iced Capp & Espresso Patrons with a review of the show and taking calls. We will have coverage all night of the show, and discussing the latest plans and directions for the company as WrestleMania inches closer.
Rewand-A-Vision is a Patron-exclusive show hosted by Wai Ting & WH Park and is released each Sunday. Next week’s show will be an extensive review of Episode 7.

Wai Ting and Jordan Goodman will return with the second edition of The Wellness Policy, airing live this Thursday at 3 pm ET for Patrons. The first show was well-received with many sharing the stories of their past year and coping with the pandemic and other issues.
This month’s book review on the show will be Atomic Habits by James Clear.
