A November 2020 edition of Ring of Honor’s weekly TV program saw the return of former ROH World Tag Team Champion Mike Bennett. Maria Kanellis-Bennett is back with the company as well and she appeared in a video on ROH’s digital channels to promote their fan engagement project titled ‘The Experience’.

Maria was recently a guest on D-Von Dudley’s Table Talk podcast and shared that she and Mike signed a short-term deal with Ring of Honor that takes them through the end of June. Kanellis-Bennett added that she and Mike hopes it becomes something long-term.

So we signed a short-term deal with Ring of Honor. We’re signed through the end of June, and then we’re gonna kinda take it from there and see what exactly we want to do. So, if we wanted to, we probably could go other places as well. But like, we really enjoy what we’re doing in Ring of Honor so I hope it becomes something a little bit more long-term but you know, it all depends on all the stipulations of contracts etc. so, we’ll see.

Maria and Mike departed Ring of Honor in 2015 and went on to become members of the TNA/IMPACT Wrestling roster. After a year in the company, they were signed to WWE where they spent several years until being released in April of 2020 as a part of the mass releases/furloughs.
