Several days ago, AEW President Tony Khan noted that the USA semifinal match in the AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator tournament between Thunder Rosa and Riho will be airing on Bleacher Report on 2/28. The winner of the tournament is moving on to the Revolution pay-per-view on March 7th to challenge Hikaru Shida for the title.

Shida was present for the taping of the Japan-based bracket of the tournament and she competed in a six-woman tag match that will stream on Bleacher Report on the 28th. It’ll be Shida teaming with Mei Suruga and Rin Kadokura against Emi Sakura, Veny and Maki Itoh.

This Wednesday on Dynamite, Nyla Rose versus Britt Baker in a semifinal match of the U.S. bracket is scheduled to take place. Rose defeated Tay Conti to advance in the tournament. Baker defeated Madi Wrenkowski to advance. Originally, Anna Jay was supposed to take on Britt Baker but the news was made public that Jay is out with a shoulder injury and could miss from six to twelve months with the injury.
